The Escape Plan - All Women
The Escape Plan - All Women is not a gentler version of the ride. It's the same Ladakh: high passes, long days, unpredictable weather, and a terrain that's starkly indifferent to your gender. What changes is the dynamic. An all-women group brings better camaraderie, inspire confidence, and a stronger sense of participation. This is no vacation. You're here to ride, adapt and stay involved in a journey that will test you more than once. You bring the willingness to show up for the hard parts. We bring the structure and support where it matters.

Day 1
Leh Arrival
Land in the Kushok Bakula Rimpochee Airport at Leh. We’ll pick you up and head to the hotel. Spend the rest of the day grounded. You will need this time to adjust to the altitude. Meet up with the crew and the rest of the group before the ride begins.
Day 2
Local Exploration
We use this day for a 120 km shake down on the NH-1. It is a chance to dial in your machine and gauge how your body responds to the altitude. We stop at places like the Indus and Zanskar confluence, the Magnetic Hill and the Pattar Sahab Gurudwara to get a feel for the local terrain. A necessary warm-up for what lies ahead
Day 3
Local Exploration Continued
We continue with our local exploration. We visit two of Ladakh's most prominent monasteries on this day - the Thiskhey and Hemis monasteries. Another 100 km loop overall to ensure a solid acclimatisation before we start riding over high passes.
Day 4
Leh - Hunder
We cross our first high-altitude pass today: Khardung La at 17,582 ft. This climb is a test of your focus and your machine’s performance. Once over the top, the terrain opens up as we navigate the sand and silt of the Nubra Valley.
Day 5
Hunder
We ride deeper into the Nubra valley on this day. We visit the hot springs of Panamik and continue further to the Siachen base camp.
Day 6
Hunder - Pangong Tso
The terrain shifts as we ride across Shyok’s riverbed towards the high plains of the Changthang. This is a day of distance and dust. By late afternoon, we reach Merak: a quiet settlement on the far edge of the lake. It is a necessary break from the crowded sections of the shoreline.
Day 7
Pangong Tso - Leh
We start our return journey on this day. We cross another high altitude pass, Chang La which is at an altitude of 17,680 (approximately). The climb up to Chang La is steep and poses quite the challenge. We then quickly ride down to Leh. We have a late evening gathering around a bonfire and a hosted dinner to mark the end of the ride.
Day 8
Fly Out Of Leh
Pack up your gear and get ready to head back home. The dust eventually washes off, but the lessons learned and the people you shared the road with stay with you. See you on the next one.
