This is not your regular weekend ride. It looks harmless at first — Easy highways, clean helmets, everyone in high spirits. You think, ah, easy stuff. Then the forest decides to introduce itself. The road tightens, the air gets nippy, and before long, you’re dodging overgrown bushes pretending you meant to take that line.
That’s when the fun begins. By the time we reach, it’s quiet — not the awkward kind, the good kind. We set up camp, light the fire, and cook whatever we can find in the bags. Nothing five-star, but somehow everything tastes amazing when it’s smoky and slightly burnt. The jokes get louder, the night gets calmer, and suddenly the whole world shrinks down to this circle of light in the middle of nowhere.
Next morning, the trail wakes up cranky. There’s mud, climbs that don’t care about your confidence, and a few moments that’ll test your balance and your ego. But once you find your rhythm, it’s pure joy. You help each other through, laugh when someone topples, and no one’s in a hurry to reach anywhere. Samse isn’t about speed or checkpoints. It’s about stories — the kind you can’t make up. By the end of it, you’re tired, dirty, maybe a little sore, but fully alive. And that’s pretty much the point.
