Day 1 Manali Arrival
Meet us at the designated rendezvous point in the lovely hill station of Manali! Our team will usher you into a lovely boutique property for your night's stay. A tour orientation session will be scheduled later in the evening to lay out the basic ground rules and also inform you about what to expect for the next few days.
Day 2 Manali - Jispa
We start our day leisurely savour a delectable breakfast and gear up for an easy day of riding. We cut across the Mammoth Mountains via Atal Tunnel to reach our destination for the day - Jispa.
Day 3 Jispa - Gonbo Rangjon
One of the toughest day of the tour. We start the day scaling up the newly christened mountain pass of Shinku La which is around 16,580 ft ASL. The roads make way for rivulets and glacial streams from here on as we descend down to the majestic Gonbo Rangjon.
Day 4 Gonbo Rangjon - Padum
On this day, we explore the 'Phuktal Gompa' on foot! Phuktal is the last known monastery which is accessible by only foot in the whole of Ladakh! After a good hike, we ride down to Padum which is one of the most prominent towns in the Zanskar region.
Day 5 Padum - Pensi La - Padum
We ride toward the stunning Suru Valley to catch a glimpse of the majestic Drang Drung glacier. The view of the Drang-Drung Glacier from Pensi La is mind-bending. The Drang Drung is a 23 km long glacier and is the second-largest glacier in the whole of Ladakh.
Day 6 Padum - Lamayuru
The day starts easy, but suddenly turns into something every rider dreams of! Extreme off-roading and a route which is not travelled by the faint-hearted. This unexplored route with 2 mighty high-altitude passes, Singe La and Sirsir La will surely test your endurance and skill levels to the core.
Day 7 Lamayuru - Leh
A welcome respite after an arduous journey. We make a quick dash to Leh and take the rest of the day easy. We also make some quick photo stops along the way at Nimmoo - the Confluence of the Indus and Zanskar, Magnetic Hill, Pathar Sahib Gurudwara etc.
Day 8 Leh - Hunder
We start our day leisurely and ride to the expansive Nubra valley. We cross the famous mountain pass of Khardung La and ride down to the Sham valley. We explore the Diskit monastery and the spectacular Maitreya Buddha statue which overlooks the valley before reaching our destination - Hunder.
Day 9 Hunder - Pangong
We start our journey towards the ethereal lake of Pangong. We cross a couple of teeming glacial brooks as we continue towards this emerald lake. We stay at a boutique property by the lake far away from the regular touristy crowd.
Day 10 Pangong - Hanle
Yet another adventurous journey deeper into the Changthang! We make our way through the nothingness of this expansive plateau to arrive at the village of Hanle. We will be skirting along the Indo-Sino border all along on this day.
Day 11 Hanle - Umling La - Hanle
We scale up the world's highest motorable pass - Umling La on this day. This newly opened pass sits at a dizzying altitude of 19300 ft ASL. This 150 km ride is mostly on mud/gravel tracks and makes up for quite an interesting day of riding
Day 12 Hanle - Tso Moriri
We continue exploring the stunning plateau of Changthang further. On this day, we take an unexplored route to another beautiful high-altitude lake - Tso Moriri. The roads elude us for the most part of our journey on this day as well.
Day 13 Tso Moriri - Sarchu
We start our day early and connect back to the Leh-Manali highway at Debring which serves as an exchange point for the motorcycles. We then start our return journey and call it a day at Sarchu - a makeshift transit-town on the border of Ladakh and Himachal
Day 14 Sarchu - Manali
On our penultimate day of the tour, we start leisurely and ride across the Baralacha for one last time and reach Manali. We spend the night in a boutique property and reminisce a fortnight filled with adventure.
Day 15 Tour Ends
After a sumptuous breakfast, bid good-bye to te team and your fellow mates. We can help you take a bus ride back to the plains from where you can board your flights. We can also help you extend your stay if you aren't done with the massive mountains!
