Frozen Spiti Expedition

Day 1: Chandigarh - Narkanda

Wake up leisurely and treat yourself to a wholesome buffet breakfast. We start our ride/drive towards the idyllic village of Narkanda. At the night, if the weather permits, we huddle up around a cosy bonfire and share stories with one another

 

Day 2: Narkanda - Sangla

We start our day early and visit the scenic Tanijubbar lake and get down to coasting along the eddying Sutlej for a major part of our day. We end our day with a high-tea picnic by the Baspa river which flows through the stunning Sangla valley.

 

Day 3: Sangla - Tabo

We start our day early and visit Chitkul - the last Indian village on the Indian side of the border depending on the weather conditions. We then chart our way back and continue our journey towards Spiti. We make a small detour to Gue and then end our day in Tabo.

 

Day 4: Tabo - Kaza

We visit the age-old monastery of Tabo and take a small detour to explore the remote Pin valley. We then continue our journey to Kaza and settle in a cosy homestay.

 

Day 5: Kaza - Langza - Komic - Hikkim - Chicham - Kaza
Keeping Kaza as the base we explore the snowed-out landscapes of Spiti further. We visit the stunningly beautiful hamlets of Langza, Komic and Hikkim. We also visit the spectacularly perched Ki monastery and spend some time with the monks trying to understand their way of living

 

Day 6: Kaza - Pin - Tabo

We start our return journey from this day. Our destination for the day is the village of Tabo, which has a small high-altitude lake which could be frozen depending on the severity of the winter.

 

Day 7: Tabo - Kalpa

We start our journey back from this day, but not before we make a small detour to explore Kalpa and Reckong-Peo. Kalpa offers some stunning views of the sacred Kinnaur Kailash peak and its adjoining mountains.

 

Day 8: Kalpa - Shimla (Tour Ends)

We start wading back to civilisation today. We coast along the Sutlej back towards Rampur and then start climbing up to Narkanda and make our way back to the bustling town of Shimla

● An advance of 30% of the total sale value has to be paid to confirm your participation in the tour

● The remaining 70% of the total sale value has to be cleared by the participants at least 15 days before the scheduled departure date that the participant has opted for

● Failure to adhere to the above-mentioned policies might result in the cancellation of your booking

● A participant is eligible for only a 50% refund of the amount paid if he/she cancels the tour 30 days before the scheduled departure date of the tour

● A participant forfeits 100% of the amount paid if he/she cancels within 30 days of the scheduled departure date of the tour

● Nomadic Soul Adventures LLP will hold the right to cancel/reschedule the tour in case of unforeseen circumstances like government lockdowns, inclement weather, civil unrest and other acts of god. In such cases, the participants will be issued a voucher equivalent to the amount paid that can be redeemed against any future tour/experience hosted by Nomadic Soul Adventures LLP. These vouchers will be transferable in nature under extraordinary circumstances. A monetary refund will not be issued under any circumstance
