Day 1: Chandigarh Arrival
Touch down in Chandigarh - The City Beautiful! Meet the team at the designated hotel. Collect your motorbikes in the evening and do a test ride on the clean and smooth roads of Chandigarh. An orientation session and a team briefing are organized to apprise you of what to expect over the next 10 days.
Day 2: Chandigarh - Narkanda
Wake up leisurely and treat yourself to a wholesome breakfast. We ride towards the idyllic hamlet of Narkanda. Being a less popular hill station, Narkanda has retained its exquisiteness and is a perfect destination to start riding as a nice warm up from the plains to the lower Himalayas through some highways and winding roads. Our day ends in a boutique property by soaking ourselves in the serenity of the surrounding orchards.
Day 3: Narkanda - Sangla
It is an early start today. The ride takes us downhill to the ‘Sutlej’ as we coast along the river for a major part of the day. The ferocity of Sutlej is both mesmerizing and intimidating at the same time. Our day ends in ‘Sangla’, after visiting Chitkul, the last village on the Indo - Tibetan Highway. We check in at our luxurious Swiss Camps set up near the Baspa river for the night and relax
Day 4: Sangla - Tabo
The landscapes from here on get barren and the roads more challenging. Our ride is marked with crests and troughs all day to reach ‘Nako - the legendary village on a hilltop connecting Kinnaur with Spiti Valley. A detour from the main highway takes us to ‘Gue’ where we visit a real 'mummy' from the 15th century. We continue and reach Tabo, our destination for the day
Day 5: Tabo - Pin - Kaza
Our day starts by scaling the treacherous roads of Spiti as we take detours to the high-altitude villages of Dhankar and Mudh (Pin Valley). The views of the rustic mountains carved by the ‘Spiti’ and its tributaries are magical. Today’s highlight is to visit the Cliff hanging fort called 'Dhangkar' and the off-road trails of Pin Valley. The village of ‘Kaza is where our day ends, the gateway to the hidden paradise of Spiti.
Day 6: Kaza - Langza - Komic - Hikkim - Kaza
Keeping Kaza as the base we explore the martian landscapes of Spiti further. Our day takes us along to visit the stunningly beautiful hamlets of 'Langza' (the fossil village), 'Komic' (the highest village connected with a road) and 'Hikkim' which is home to arguably the highest post office in the world.
Day 7: Kaza - Ki - Chicham - Chandratal
On this day we start our day early and ride across the famous Kunzum pass (14,9328 ft) and drive further to Chandra Tal. This stunning high-altitude lake is accessible only by walking the last 800 meters. One can also do a parikrama of the lake and enjoy some stunning views of the glacier that feeds the lake.
Day 8: Chandratal - Jispa
it's an arduous journey to Jispa from Losar. We cross the mighty Kunzum again and cross the glacial points of Chota Dhara and Dorni. You will be riding on dried-up river beds strewn with rocks of all shapes and sizes which puts both men and their machines to the grind!
Day 9: Jispa - Manali
We start our day leisurely and chart our way back to Manali. After briefly exploring some beautiful places in Lahaul, we take the Atal tunnel and make a quick dash to Manali. We explore the buzzing cafes of old Manali and call it a day.
Day 10: Tour Ends
As the old adage goes - 'All good things come to an end!' But this end, for sure, is a glorious one! One replete with tons of exciting stories and sweet memories. Post a hearty breakfast, we bid goodbye to each other and carry on with our plans of travel from thereon.
