The Tribal Circuit

Aug 24th - Aug 31st

Rudyard Kipling described Spiti as ‘a world within a world’ in his novel, ‘Kim’ that was set against the backdrop of The Great Game. His description of the place is right on the money, even now, a 100 years later! Spiti - loosely translates to ‘The Middle Land’, is a cold desert mountain valley that’s sandwiched between Tibet and India. This rustic valley lies in the northeastern part of the Indian state of Himachal Pradesh and is a part of Lahaul and Spiti district. Replete with its enigmatic culture and history, Spiti is one of India’s least populated regions. The rolling mountains of various hues of brown against the azure spotless skies is some of the best works in nature’s oeuvre, period! On this ride, we take you through the heavenly valley of Kinnaur as well before riding to Spiti.
